wat heeft een muzikant dat een schilder niet heeft en visa versa?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Waarom applaudisseren mensen niet voor beelden?  En waarom kijken we naar de muzikant wanneer hij iets maakt en naar een beeld n\u00e0 dit hele proces?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deze problematiek, die er geen is, komt aan bod in een reeks performances \u2018Different Pieces\u2019 waar steeds andere muzikanten Wannes Lecompte vergezellen.  In elk deel wordt er steeds op een andere manier abstractie gemaakt van \u2018de performance\u2019 aan zich.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vanuit een enorme verwondering als schilder voor muzikanten eigent Wannes zich het voorrecht toe om mee op een podium te staan om het over muziek te hebben.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

What do the painter and the musician have in common?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why does music get applause, but not the image?  And why do we watch musicians as they make something, as opposed to only seeing the image when the whole process is complete?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Those reflections are the subject in \u2018Different pieces\u2019, a serie of performances where musicians are joining visual artist Wannes Lecompte to make abstraction of the performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Originated from a tremendous amazement for musicians, Wannes as a painter, has the privilege of being on stage with a variety of musicians to talk about music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
